Out of 25 Grading Chart

Every possible score on a 25-point test — from 25/25 (100% A) down to 0/25 (0% F) — with its percentage, letter grade, and GPA equivalent on the standard 4.0 scale.

When is a 25-Point Test Used?

Twenty-five question tests are widely used for mid-chapter quizzes and spelling tests. With each question worth exactly 4 points, teachers can grade quickly: miss one and you score 96%; miss five and you drop to 80% (B).

The letter grades below use the standard US 10-point scale: A (90–100%), B (80–89%), C (70–79%), D (60–69%), F (below 60%). GPA values follow the 4.0 unweighted scale (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0.0).
